Before a community can have a say in AI, it helps to name the whole territory, so nothing important gets missed and people working on different parts share one map. This is that map: a starting point, not the last word. It sets out the areas where AI affects life in the Hunter, organised into categories you can point to and build on. It is a draft, offered so you can challenge it, add what is missing, and make it your own.
Some things run right across the map, so we treat them as threads rather than boxes of their own: privacy, children, gender, equity and those most exposed, and the local Hunter lens all turn up in many categories at once. The categories are lettered A to K so they stay stable as references, even as the detail underneath them grows.
If an area is missing, misnamed, or matters more in the Hunter than we have shown, tell us. The taxonomy is meant to be argued with, and it gets better every time someone who knows a corner of it better than we do has their say.

It describes areas of impact; it does not rank them or settle how the community should respond. Those are questions for the community to work through together.
